Plantful Living was founded on the basis of science, physiology, nutrition, psychology, and behavioral change. I understand how the body and mind work, and I use that knowledge to determine the right processes and strategies for individuals.

I’m a Registered Dietitian, and I’m glad you’re here.

Over the last decade, I’ve worked with more than 1,000 clients on a wide range of nutritional topics, from diabetes and GI disorders to weight management. I’ve worked as a private practice dietitian, consultant dietitian, and hospital outpatient dietitian, as well as a clinical researcher and college nutrition lecturer.

I have a true passion for the power of plants, and I’ve seen how plant-based eating can transform peoples' lives. My mission is to inspire clients to eat healthier whole plant foods – but it’s just as important to help them understand how our brains work and how to modify eating behaviors. By focusing on both of these areas, clients can avoid common pitfalls and embrace the benefits of plant-powered healing.

My Education

I was a psychology major at the University of Pennsylvania, and went on to The University of Akron where I received Masters and Doctorate degrees in Industrial and Organizational (I/O) Psychology. After spending over a decade as an I/O Psychologist, I decided to pursue my interest in nutrition professionally. I completed the Didactic Program in Dietetics at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and then completed the Dietetic Internship at the Veterans Affairs Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System.
